Why we are coat tailing the blinds?

Pink Floyd's song "The Dogs of War" describes politicians orchestrating wars, suggesting the major influence behind war is money. Perhaps, we all know this fact but little we know who manages all the money. This song is from PF's 1988 album a Momentary Lapse of Reason. This song was not a hit yet I like it cause it has music, melody, messages and magic.

I lance the financial world through this song, as it says " for had cash, we will lie and deceive" & "Even our master don't know the web we weave" this particular part reminds me Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission conclusion, which says;
  • widespread failures in financial regulation, including the Fed failure to stem the "Tide the Toxic Mortgages"
  • Dramatic breakdowns in corporate Governance, with many firms acting recklessly taking too much risk
  • an explosive mix of excessive borrowing and risk by households and wall street
  • policymakers were ill prepared for the crisis and lacked understanding of the system they oversaw
  •   systemic breaches of accountability and ethics at all levels
But I wonder, indeed hopelessly, if all these have been found then why the policymakers are still in charge. If they failed to understand the system, which they govern, what is the guarantee it will not happen again. If we know their knowledge is limited then why the are explaining us.

The aftermath of the crisis and ill management is making not only the US but the entire world suffer, The money US is printing is inflating prices all around the world but the entire world  is blaming China for that. Read third point above which says explosive mix of excessive borrowing, by raising the debt ceiling isn't US repeating the same mistake again.

And then the song ending is even great, "But whatever you change, you know the dogs remains"
